Back to the Blogs!
Due to popular demand from small spiny nocturnal insectivores everywhere, I have decided to return to the blogs. Lots of unnecessary opinions and wonderful pictures will follow. Since I don't have anything to say right now, I will post a short poem I wrote to get things started.
They were so small
yet so large
so few
yet so many
just like me
yet so different
so far away
but somehow
right here in front of me
I knew them by their first names
Fred, Harriet, Abbie, Emma, Ken, Janis, Martin, Billie, George, Nanny, John
ordinary names
that somehow signify
so much more than
ordinary names
wingless angels
dancing before me
not on the head of a pin
but on the head
of a pen.
